He’s, it’s the NL Matchday thread brought to you by the Royal Welsh winter show !
(Sorry for jumping on your posh Builthy)

The Officials : It’s Tony whose coat again !
Tony Harrington will be the referee for Swansea City’s Championship clash with Reading at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday (3pm). The Cleveland official took charge of the Swans five times last season, he oversaw wins over Nottingham Forest and Rotherham, as well as the away leg against Barnsley in the play-offs, plus defeats against Huddersfield and Birmingham.

Tony Harrington, not a Barbour, but a referee

Earlier this term he had the whistle for Swansea’s dramatic comeback draw at Luton, and the defeat at Bournemouth. Harrington will be assisted by Edward Smart and Steven Meredith, while Lee Swabey will be the fourth official. Tony lives in Cleveland, not a Bristol one.

Swansea City record v Reading
Games won: 34
Games drawn: 17
Games lost: 33

Reading haven’t beaten Swansea for the last sixteen meetings. The last time Reading won was in 2008. The swans have won nine of those sixteen meetings with seven being drawn. I’m sure they used to be a bogey team ?

The EFL Championship

That’s a grainy league table. Like.

Reading manager Paunovic signed Andy Carroll, or at least someone did,

Reading have managed to turn their fortunes round slightjy with two Andy Carroll appearances in the last two games. In as much as they drew with Nottingham Forest and looked more of a cohesive unit albeit losing against Sheffield United.

If we win I wonder if everyone is going to be happy this time?

I’d like to know our last win when everyone was happy and not look for conflict. Must have to go back years.

You could go a month back to when we won the derby.. can’t imagine many people leaving the stadium with a frown on their face.

And then they come back on here and pick fights instead of celebrating.

Strange way to display happiness.

Some of the biggest blow ups this season on here was after the Cardiff game with people trying to pick arguments with others.

As I said, it is a very strange way to express happiness.

Reading on a run of one win in seven. Starting to struggle a bit after a strong start. If we can avoid the usual third game in a week wobbles we should win this one.

Hopefully the decision to rest Ntcham for most of Wednesday's game will pay dividends for us. Seven points from nine would be a good weeks work.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Wonderful slid through pass by Ntcham and a lovely centre, but Piroe off side. That is what a midfielder should look like - lovely play. Our goal-against, coming directly after our beautiful opener by Paterson, was due to an unnecessary back pass . We have a very potent attacking trio in Paterson, Ntcham and Piroe let’s give them as much ball as possible.

….and let’s get the defence sorted boys! Now 1-2.

Offsides on our goal, no offsides on theirs.

Both looked like terrible decisions live, too bad Swans TV can't be bothered to show a good replay.
