I'd suggest TVOS is correct the income from that one game even if it was a sellout wouldn't make it worth renting the bigger ground for a full season.

My point was more that a capacity of 12,000 would still be too many for even that game, given segregation, limits on capacity, limits on away fans, etc.

Project 92 which owns Salford has total losses of £15 million since it was set up in 2015, and its liabilities total £19 million.

Yes it got a mention on one of the recent Price of Football podcasts. If they ever get bored I doubt Salford would survive.
