Was going to start this thread after the ‘Boro game but forgot. Based on what you see game to game from visiting teams which of their players would you have in our side at the expense of one of ours?
Middlesboro — Giles at LWB ahead of Paal.
Blackpool — oh how I wish Josh Bowler was playing for us last night ahead of Johansen. Their left back Thompson was a complete to$$er, but I’d have had him over Paal.

I’ve only seen him play twice, and in the context of ‘which visiting team players would you have at the expense of one of ours’ then I rate him below the two mentioned above.
Paal was a weak link, they targeted that and we didn’t do anything to negate it.
Thompson, like it or not, was very effective for them, and would have made our team better.
I wouldn’t have had the Blackpool keeper or any other of their defenders above ours, midfield Bowler yes, and, to be honest as bad as our forward play was, no one other of theirs I’d swap. | |

Fair enough and I wouldn't argue with you.
Paal certainly needs to adjust to our league but I have a feeling he will do so well.
