Week 6 results MILLWALL 2 CARDIFF CITY 0 Millwall ended a run of three straight defeats as they deservedly beat Cardiff. Only oxfcolu and BFG got this spot-on, and a further 21 had the outcome. SWANSEA CITY 1 QUEENS PARK RANGERS 0 Joel Piroe made up for an earlier penalty miss to send Swansea to a second Championship win of the season. Only mfb_cufc and oxfcolu had this spot-on, and another 5 got the outcome. 18 predicted a win for QPR with 13 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score. BOLTON WANDERERS 3 CHARLTON ATHLETIC 1 After two successive League defeats, Bolton came from behind to beat Charlton. Nobody got this spot-on, but 18 did have the outcome. DERBY COUNTY 2 PLYMOUTH ARGYLE 3 Substitute Sam Cosgrove scored twice on his debut as Plymouth came from two goals down to beat Derby. Again nobody had this spot-on, and only oxfcolu got the outcome. 24 predicted a win for Derby. DONCASTER ROVERS 1 MANSFIELD TOWN 3 Mansfield picked up their first away points of the season, and bring an end to Doncaster's unbeaten start. Another game with no 3 pointer, and only wessex_exile and BFG had the outcome. 21 predicted a win for Doncaster. NORTHAMPTON TOWN 3 BARROW 1 Northampton bounced back to winning ways with an excellent win over in-form Barrow. 4 had this spot-on, and a further 14 got the outcome. Week 6 didn't turn out to be a super six one for most, after much promise earlier in the afternoon. But with a 90th minute second goal for Millwal, and Derby blowing a two-goal lead, it ended being a struggle to find a 3 pointer, with only 8 in total. So it was a great effort from two members to get two each, they were oxfcolu, who had those wins for Millwall and Swansea, and three outcomes, to make him the weeks top scorer with an excellent 9 points. Only the the win for Mansfield stopped him getting a full house. Also BFG, who had the wins for Millwall and Northampton, and two outcomes to give him a very decent 8 points. Best of those to get one 3 pointer was mfb_cufc, who had that win for Swansea and three outcomes, to give a very useful 6 points. The four home wins this week means half of the 40 games so far this season have ended that way. Only a small sample of games, but at 50% that is 10% above the usual Happy League norm. The other 20 games have been split with aways and draws having 10 each. Interestingly there has not been a 1-2 or a 2-2 so far this season. In the Premier The only member to get a 3 pointer in this division was mfb_cufc, and it helped to move him up a couple of places to the top spot. Three outcomes for last weeks leader thrillseeker in second, and four outcomes for wessex_exile, as he moves up a place to third. Two outcomes for ghughes11, as he drops to the final Super Cup spot. The rest of the division remains the same as last week. That means for the third week running RSCOSWORTH remains in the relegation zone on the first to post rule. In Division One After spending the last three weeks at the summit, GOSBTS has to settle for second this week, but only on the most 3 pointer rule, as a solid 5 points for Pinault_Noir, that included having the Northampton 3-1 spot-on, continued his recent progress, to take him to the top. Also losing out on the most 3 pointer rule is sevebalo, as he was also indebted to getting the Northampton 3-1 spot-on. Two outcomes each for bwildered and burnsieespana, and they remain fourth and fifth. The biggest move in this league came from the weeks top scorer oxfcolu. Up six places, and into the final play-off spot. One outcome for MrHappy2, means he drops out of the top six for the first time this season. The only other member to have a forward movement in this league was BFG, as his decent week took him three rungs up from the bottom, as his two spot-ons mean every member in both divisions has now got one. THE TABLES (40 out of 280 played) (Tie-breaker: Most 3 pointers, and then the first to post) Week 7 Fixtures This weekend's Premier League and English Football League fixtures have been postponed as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
