100% agree with this.
I’m a passionate and proud Welshman as I suspect most of us on here and I also happen to speak the language. I just don’t get this obsession some have with having a Welsh manager, of course it would be it nice if the manager was Welsh, but let’s be honest it’s far more important that the next manager is the right manager and takes us forward.
We could easily have been in Germany had we had another manager in charge, or if Page had stayed but had an experienced mentor to develop him.
Can you imagine where Swansea would be if they insisted that the manager had to come from Swansea!! Mental. | | | |
