Rayan Kolli on 01:12 - Jun 7 by numptydumpty | I predicted both Armstrong and Kolli as future stars I fear now that both these predictions are way off the mark. Armstrong just isn't talented enough. Kolli, to me he gives of vibes that he has already made it big and he feels its his destiny. For me, a lot of the posturing, the getting his name out there and basically self promotion. It's great if you are a you tube influencer or a love island reality star but he is meant to be attempting to be a decent professional footballer All these extra things around him, to me suggests he will end up nowhere. Enfield town or Billericay FC awaits if he carries on the way he is doing. The goals and performances last season were fleeting, he showed promise but his availability so far has been a shocking start. For me, the talent could potentially be there, but all this hullabaloo around him is not good for me. Want him completely focused on his game. I predict this guy will be struggling to get a game in league two in a couple of seasons. And thats not based on his performances. If he had been available also. I would say he would been looking at high level championship level, however, the circus around him is extremely poor and extremely wrong around let's face it is a player who has managed a handful of professional matches. I boxed him in with Sinclair Armstrong but currently Armstrong looks on course to have a more regular bog standard career than Kolli. I just think the noise around him already display massive red flags. Kieran Morgan has not been talking about achieving his dream already. He has put in the hard graft, generally been always available, an amazing start and even though his form drifted as the season went on, he grafted and his motm performance in the final was outstanding. No sky sports interviews about his dream or the One Show minor celebrity endorsement of his religion. Yes all signs around Kolli look negative for me. Refocus and get your head down in training and my advice is stop doing these promos. I'd loan him out couple leagues down as his Billy Big Boy attitude needs actually to be taken away. If he achieves with us this season, fabulous, but I personally have concerns... Seen the future.. Rayan Kardashian turns out for the latest reincarnation of Hollywood Boys FC... And I predict this kid will have a fine career, he has got it in spades. The last time I was this excited about a player at Rangers was after I saw Eze play and he anit doing to shabby. Oh and I remember a few posters on here at the time slagging him off for being lazy!!

To put a different p.o.v. to the 'Billy Big Boll***s' suggestions.. The day before the Burnley debacle, we went to the Training ground to watch the development squad against Brentford. As we drove through the gates Pal and Ashby were driving in the opposite direction after their morning training session. We didn't see any other players, so presumably they had already left or would soon follow. The match was played on the furthest pitch away from the building. Kolli was soon spotted, still in training kit, walking out to watch the game and stayed for the whole 90 minutes, even though we were thumped 5-1, and he walked back to the changing rooms with the players afterwards. For me this demonstrated his care for the club and the development squad players that were his team mates. So yes there may be hype, he may have a pushy agent or father, but he does have some sense of 'having his feet on the ground'.

Rayan Kolli on 13:23 - Jun 7 with 712 views | Lblock | I’m getting this is not direct but I know people who know the family They have said to me they are good people and Rayan is a good kid They’ve also been going Loftus Road for over a decade. That’ll do for me thanks. The kid has an abundance of talent from what I’ve seen. A summer of strength conditioning wouldn’t go amiss and then a consistent run with goals and assists each or every other game. We’ll be agonising over the January window then. We’ll see…… [Post edited 7 Jun 23:09]

That's good to know And I had high hopes for him. I was not saying he won't make it but the self promos are things that generally for past young players has an unduly negative effect and Rayan himself chatting about that he has interest from Saudi, I personally think he should not be talking about this at all. And can't say there may be much of a grain of truth in this either. I had spongebob square pants as my avatar previously and that was because I previously was so impressed with him back then with his undoubted quality. But the last few performances I saw him for the development squad was a worry. Not in the game at all. Gave an impression like he wasn't wishing to be there. It's only a nagging doubt for me and no one would be more delighted than me, if he succeeded. I just think sometimes if there is a circus around a young player it can, not always though, have a very negative effect on performance. We seen it before sadly But I wish him well and obviously hope my nagging doubts don't materialise at all and he is outstanding. [Post edited 7 Jun 13:49]
