We’ve got a pub and some fanzones.
Who cares if we’re going to be the worst team in Premier League history and on course to concede 100 goals.

2 relegations in 3 seasons speaks volumes.

I’d be more concerned about staying in The Championship next season before any thoughts of promotion after this summer’s firesale then relying on loans and free transfers AGAIN.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Exactly this, we have had over decade of saying the club are focusing on commercial and marketing value. Guess what its not improved.
We have also had decades of signing "ones for the future" and the future never comes. We have long lost the ability to spot a rough diamond and turn them into a first teamer. We have signed dozens of non league youths and i would bet Andy Townsend was our last success.

Poll: Has the Ross Stewart deal already paid off as Nick says?

Actuallly we have not had over a decade of the club focussing on commercial and marketing, we had several seasons under Gao were we could not invest in Marketing etc.

Our ability to spot one for the future is not long lost, Tyler Dibling has broken through this season, Nathan Tella in the last few years, Sam Amo Ameyaw is being sold for £10 million if the option is taken up and Jimmy Jay Morgan was poached from us by Chelsea and we have scouted the likes of Tino Livramento, Romeo Lavia, Shea Charles & Charley Alcatraz, all youngsters bought in fairly cheaply and developed.

Perhaps Andy Townsend was our last non league success, or perhaps he wasn't as Jason Dodd came after him from Bath and there may be a couple more, but that is the case for most Premier League clubs these days, it is not a Southampton thing.

The difficulty Saints have is that Chelsea can also recruit in our area and have an academy down here, hence the likes of Levi Colwill who was scouted by Chelsea at the age of 8 in 2011.

It is easy to be glib about Saints recruitment, but the big clubs get there first and offer a lot of inducements and have done for almost 20 years now

Just like I've got absolutely no interest in hearing that Juric wants to stay next season, I couldn't care less that Sport Republic's latest appointee thinks that Sport Republic and their model are going to be great.

Seriously, wtf else is he going to say: 'I think there are some important things to sort out at senior management level - clearing out a few duff decision makers, that sort of thing - and obviously the strategy in relation to on the pitch matters needs to changes radically - started with the appointment of an effective manager and the recruitment of decent players - but other than that, I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in to my new role'.

Fine words butter no parsnips.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Let's judge Mr Spors by the effect, if any, he has on our fortunes.

Poll: Should we try to replace Selles for the final seven games?

Have to agree with what you’ve posted here.

He’s not going to say the multi - club model is a load of shlt is he.

Sport republic can also not be a success , just like they haven’t been for bout 75% of the time they’ve been here.
