Wouldn't have that in Machynlleth the true Capital.

People are arseholes.

Why they can't put something in a bin rather than chuck it on the floor is beyond me.

Those caught should be made to pick up litter for a week.

Threw a Burger King bag in a car recently after they emptied its contents onto the road and into a cycle path. Littering is unnecessary in any country, but it seems to be the way in many.

At least WoL are slagging Cardiff off for once , thats a first for their journalists .

Any major hotspot will have litter and dodgy food outlets , sadly it is par for the course in these places , Maccy D drive ins and surrounding areas after are a disgrace with a mess .

Big Mac have had planning permission to open an outlet close to our local Secondary School though .

How convenient by the Council to allow a place to establish there on that particular site .

Too many have so little pride in where they live , I live near a school and look forward to the school holidays so I don't have to wade through piles of sweet chip wrappings . The difference is tangible when they're in and out of school . A recent visit to France and a big University city and I didn't see a butt end let alone anything else. Dog shite is another thing we must come top of the league in leaving behind, I have a neighbour whose dogs' walk is one that take him up the road and back so he can do his "business" then moans when someone else's dog does the same. As a nation, with the odd exception, we're pretty poor in looking after our environment.

I was at a school event last night at yhe local comp. Bearing in mind most of the attendees were adults, probably about 200 there. They had to make an announcement not to drop rubbish on the floor and put it in the bin. Some people are just plain lazy with no self respect.

Why wasn't he fined for each time he dumped his shite ,? I won't drop a sweet wrapper let alone dump a fridge and taught my kids to have the same attitude. All my pockets seem to be filled with dog bags ( empty) and yet we have the annual banning of dog walking on the beaches yet humans can and do leave disposable barbecues and bury broken glass bottles.

A classic case of dumping is the junction of Eigen Crescent and Townhill Road opposite Mayhill shops.

Day after day black bags ar dumped there it's like there personal rubbish dump and the Council come along and remove them

Surely a camera could be installed to catch these lowlifes

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

My local Council NPTC are now introducing an online booking system to visit their site to get rid of household waste .

Problem is it a private company running the facility and they only open a few days a week .
A queue of cars follows on , many give up and do a u turn myself included .

My advice to NPT will be get ready for a spate of bin bags chucked over our area .

Surely a booking system solves that problem?

With recycling, what are people putting in black bags? Food cans bottles and plastic can all be recycled, you can even dispose of clean soft plastics at supermarkets

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

All councils have to do to fix the fly tipping problem is to set aside a few acres of land and allow people to dump whatever non-toxic waste they like there. Fridges, tyres, domestic, whatever. Then the scrotes on Community Service can be employed to sort it all into recyclable containers.

Who would risk dumping things illegally when you can do so with full consent?

By increasing the requirements, conditions, expense etc of getting rid of stuff all that will happen is that fly tipping increases.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

During Covid Swansea council opened up land adjacent to the existing baling plant , this where you could dump all items without the hassle associated with the baling plant system, it worked but once the pandemic was over normal service resumed. I don't mind the booking service and use it frequently but I do wonder what ever did we do with our rubbish before the advent of such places, one thing I suppose is we weren't so consumer driven then and kept things longer .
