I would have had no need to look at this if we had held on last night.

However.....

Derby's goal difference when they finished on 11 points was -69.

With eight games to go, ours is currently -49.

I do think we have enough games left where good results are possible, including this Sunday.

However, a hiding or two and the goal difference could be worse than Derby's....

Our goal difference is currently -57.

Twelve goals better than Derby’s.

Anybody who thinks we will lose each of the next 3 games by less than four goals each is a braver man than me.

Still, Farley says we are now harder to beat, so it’s all good.

I think city will thump us, Everton will batter us and depending on Arsenal needing a win for 2nd could be a pasting, Farley will end up with a worse goals against per game than the last 2 chumps.
