Adminstration usually means debtors can take a walk. WRU to take over. They obviously wanted the debts gone before stepping in.

Well the deadline has passed with no agreement.
Apparently they needed to agree to sign the PRA by yesterday evening, although they are still waiting to see the final copy of the agreement. The WRU really are a joke of an outfit.

Maybe the signed agreement is simply stuck in a traffic queue on the M4 …..

Cardiff Wales Airport struggling , Cardiff Rugby Club bankrupt .
Cardiff / Glamorgan Cricket team at Minor Counties level these days .

One common theme over all these failures the one eyed WAG aim to make Wales great .
Real world these ideas are not achievable no matter how much Cardiff Bay bigs it up .

Maybe try to cross The Seven Bridge and ask the English Premier League can we join you to get some quality fixtures and full houses to attend .

S4c are struggling to screen Welsh Rugby at the moment , Twickers would laugh it off .

If only Ospreys could play in a league with the World Champions and 6 Nations champions for 2 of the past 3 years ?

Plus improving Italy and Scotland.
Imagine that….?

Its strange to suggest URC is poor when our Welsh regions are mostly at the bottom of the league.

Just saying facts …. ?

I can’t say I blame the Ospreys, Scarlets and Dragons tbh. It appears the WRU want the 3 regions to sign up to something that was previously agreed prior to Cardiff going bust and being taken over by the WRU. Concerns stem from the potential that the WRU will provide Cardiff with additional funding over and above what the others get thereby creating an uneven playfield.

The concern is they could give them 2 years notice to cut it down to two regions.

I agree, but I think that will be the death of professional rugby in Wales.

If they go down the route of East and West, I can’t see the Scarlets or Ospreys supporters getting behind 1 team nor could I see Newport and Cardiff supporters getting behind 1 team.

Cardiff would probably have a “region” but not sure where the West team would be based. Swansea is the big metropolis with business backing, money, etc, but PYS is a much, much better facility than St Helens and they also have a bit of cash and support from down West. 🤷

Scarlets fought to the end to keep their idendity albiet not Llanelli as was their heritage .
They also then invested in Parc y Scarlets Stadium , seldom filled except for TV angles .

Yet old Stradey Park was bouncing with turk supporters back in the day .

Go back to regional rugby and accept the regions were a move too far without the finances calculated to pay Four regions and cover their costs .

WRU will now cut their losses and bail out accept the mess they have made .

The Daffodil faced , look at me I am on the big screen supporters are in the minority .

Regarding Scarlets having support ,I spend a lot of time in west Wales (really out west) and I have to say I've never seen a scarlet shirt on display , but plenty of Ospreys .I appreciate that's nota scientific and accurate assessment but maybe an indicator .

Average attendance 23/24
Ospreys 4,882
Scarlets 6,935

Is possibly a more accurate indicator of popularity.
