Adminstration usually means debtors can take a walk. WRU to take over. They obviously wanted the debts gone before stepping in.

But yeah great post, Moffett, that was the guy I was trying to remember I'm work the other day.

Rugby needs bums on seats. Newport, Cardiff, Swansea. With a population of only 50,000 The Sgarlets cannot survive long term with our a benefactor. Newport on the other hand as 160,000 and a renter in Newport County in the EFL getting crowds of 3000+.

Perhaps if Drakeford hadn't refused money for the relief road, more companies would have relocated to Wales than Avonmouth.

Speaking personally I'm happy for the gogs to stay where they are

The HS2 money would find it.

A new offshore floating wind farm coming in the seas off Wales. We get the eyesore and the pylons for transmission. Charlie boys gets his 13 % cut (reduced for 25% It was getting obscene even for him) and Westminster the rest.

WRU haven't owned Newport for a few years.

Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

Was very fair of the UK government to fully fund the M4 relief road as part of the UK infrastructure programme. Funny how Drakeford happily accepted UK taxpayers money, via the EU, to upgrade the heads of the valley road.

What handouts. The government was given Wales the money for provide for UK infrastructure.

Funny how you were always happy to accept "handouts" from the EU even if the money came from UK taxpayers.

The UK govt made Wales so poor that we qualified for structural funds from the EU to fix it.

The UK govt chose not to help Wales.
The EU chose to help Wales.

WAG also thought it might be a good idea to tax tourists to visit Wales .

How stupid and ridiculous is that thinking from our Leaders up in Cardiff Bay .

Next time I travel over The Severn will there be a taxman demanding a visitors tax to enter England for a social call involving an overnight stop .

Politicians , got to love them .

I guess some people love Wales so much that they can't wait to drive a dual carriageway right through some of the prettiest parts of it so people can get to Bangor 60 minutes quicker.

And even if they did, they’d still use Liverpool or more likely Manchester airports.

Only a true visionary—by which I mean an idiot—would dream of carving a road through the belly of Wales while South Wales chokes on a backlog so bad it sends business packing. Our resident forum oracle, ever consistent, has once again dazzled us with his insight.

Most welsh people want a better M4 …and a better north-south route.

You made it a choice, not anyone else ….

I know you struggle bigly with having a vision for anything new, but better transport links can be very useful to improving economic opportunities. Thats why EU funding has often resulted in better road links.

Not a good time for our capital. Rugby club in administration and football club getting relegated. Far better to be a country cousin in a beautiful city like Swansea.

If you turn off the M4 at Magor and follow the road to Spytty there is a great deal of business moved to that area since the end of the tolls. I just wonder if it is because they don't need to hit the traffic.

Projects like this have a nasty habit of going tremendously over budget. e.g. HS2.

It is a stick to beat the WAG with. They would get pilloried whatever they did

Sometimes doing nothing is the best policy. The democratic n
Body voted for by Welsh people decided the M4 was either too expensive or too risky to build now. HS2 proceeded with plans to link Leeds and Manchester. The southern luvies ate up all the budget so now it only goes to Birmingham.

No talk of a HS1-HS2 link which would link Birmingham to Paris and Bruxelles directly.

The WAG possibly. made the right call without hindsight. My problems with the M4 is the very slow response to shunts. With modern technology and drones shunts should be dealt with in minimal times spans and recovery vehicles on station for rapid action .

There were sometimes traffic jams at 10 am for an accident that happened at 6am due to Police data collection.

The WRU are totally incompetent they have no idea on how to run the game in Wales, there's clear favoritism in their ranks towards Cardiff RFC would they have done the same if it was one of the other three, absolutely not is the answer.

They should be going all out to get grassroots rugby moving again in Wales and giving far more support to the regions to encourage the regions to recruit oversea players and then get them in the Welsh swet-up under the residency rules until the grassroots is flourishing, wishful thinking on that score though.

We need more bulk, size and physicality to come up through the ranks.
