Or it might be a bit quicker and less tiring if they repeated the journey of the six Scotland fans, who are said to have travelled to Argentina for the 1978 World Cup in a submarine. Mind you, they apparently never came back, probably finding the Argentine senoritas favourable to the lasses back home.😁

2030 World Cup on 12:12 - Apr 11 by derbyhoop | I'd thought about going in 2026. Not any more, with that orange lunatic running the USA. IIRC, virtually every US ground is out of town, with virtually zero public transport, so that's another reason. |
Once you go outside major cities there is pretty much zero public transport derbyhoop because not only does everybody drive there is 4 or 5 cars in the driveway ready to roll. Forget who is President it makes zero difference to the WC and your adventure should you come over and I highly recommend it . The reason almost every stadium is away from the city center is congestion and the parking available is incredible so book the flight, hotel and rent a car to drive yourself in your own time its going to be well worth it . England (i assume you are supporting the 3 lions) are pretty much gaurnteed a semi final spot IMO so it will be funin the sun and you will get back home safely after your visit

Agree 100%! You’ll not catch me in that increasingly stupid place while the manbaby is in charge. However, while going to a WC is not my thing, if you really must go, then watch it in Canada (11am flight out of Toulouse mon ami) and/or Mexico (great place to watch your footy, too). Sorted!

2030 World Cup on 12:25 - Apr 15 with 461 views | NewBee | It seems sanity may just be prevailing over madness on this 64 team idea, even in the furthest reaches of FIFA: Concacaf opposes 64-team World Cup plans for 2030 Concacaf president Victor Montagliani has criticised a proposal to expand the 2030 men's World Cup to 64 teams. The plans, put forward by South American governing body Conmebol, have also drawn opposition from Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cj68ydgeweko [Post edited 15 Apr 12:27]
