Couldn’t care, they’ve pretty much bought their way up, these owners sent out thousands of bottles of alcohol to people in the Wrexham area when they took over. People like it when you give them free things, they think they are your friends.

Of course the interest in Wrexham and the surrounding areas has increased. It’s those very people I begrudge the success.
It’s like Man City in a way. They had a long suffering, predominantly local fanbase, who stuck by them through thick and thin. Those people deserve the success their owners ultimately bought. Same for the original Wrexham fans. The new/plastic fans of either club don’t. Unfortunately, they hugely outnumber the real fans. | | | |

I have no beef with the Gogs. As far as I'm aware they're not hugely fond of the Bassey's either so the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
They've gone through tough times in recent years and are currently on a good run. Yes, the hype is a bit much but I doubt that there's many people who wouldn't have been just as chuffed as them had we been in their position. |  |

We had a lot less hype about us at the time. We were just seen as a really well run club punching above its weight. Wrexham are being run pretty well too, although the commercial opportunities available via ownership have made it a lot easier for them and I guess inspired a fair bit of jealousy. | |
