| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Yes, excellent reporting, Liam! Now if both parties can get this deal over the line, then the Swans will go into the summer ahead of the curve!
Sheehan deal offered to be head coach at Swansea City on 12:39 - Apr 27 with 2191 views | TimBowen | Wow, I missed this yesterday, what with everything going on (cardiff). Just read it, all bleary eyed after a 'couple of Stellas' last night. Great reporting Liam lad, and what a way to end a memorable weekend. Yes, the Swans lost narrowly, but as many posters have agreed, our second half performance deserved at least a draw. If only we had a prolific striker (or two?). If Sheehan accepts our contract offer, as NC says, we'll be ahead of things, going into a season with a Head Coach who will know what he needs player recruitment wise, to push on next season. The worry of course is whether he will get that level of strengthening? As well as already signed Melker Widell, I'm hearing from a good source, how we have two more Scandinavian players lined up for this Summer. 'Caps doffed' to Liam and Keith. Yes Tim. Much work being done. Real work that will provide results. Melker Widell sourced by the same team that brought us Liam O’Brien and Hannes Delcroix. It’s working well.

I disagree, wrecsam and brum are going to struggle with the FFP. Ipswich imo will struggle, possibly with soton, leicester will run away with it, after that we have nothing to worry about, if the owners back sheehan.

I think Wrexham and Brum will have 3 years before FFP kicks in with them in the Championship

Not sure how it works for promoted clubs. But surely there is a maximum they can spend each season ?

Are you sure? That would mean Birminghams relegation benefitted them.

Isn't it £41 million losses over 3 seasons for championship teams

I'm sure I read when Birmingham were getting relegated it was said that relegation would suit them financially and they would come back stronger. £15M on one player for example.

I know but at least Cardiff won't find relegation beneficial, I honestly believe it will bankrupt them.

If that’s right, it really is a joke. Get relegated, spend a shed load because if rich owners and come back stronger. Makes no sense whatsoever.

For that season, but surely it can’t carry on back into the championship? Are we saying that £15m and whatever else they’ve spent doesn’t count and in theory both Wrexham and Birmingham could lose £39m next season?

In theory if they went straight up to the Premier League [Birmingham might] but if they don't they can loose no more over the next two years.

Don’t underestimate Wrexham. They have something called momentum and I believe they’ll be candidates for top 6 next year even if they don’t have a top 6 squad. It happens.

Yeah, so we’re saying they haven’t got a rolling three years and whatever they lost last year doesn’t count. Mental

This is why I think Birminghams future is a lot stronger than Wrexham. The financial commitment is in the £2-3 billion region for the whole project. Wrexham won't have parachute payments to compete with the 5-6 clubs who have let alone experienced championship players. They will do well to be top half. https://footballgroundguide.com/news/new-birmingham-city-stadium-latest
