The powers that were, were incompetent and let his contract run down without, on the face of it, making reasonable contract offers. I believe that we have more clued in people running the show now but it may be too late in the day to keep Darling.

Lissah has been out injured for most of the season and started his first match last Monday. An excellent prospect who could step up but I don't expect him to be pushing for the first team squad at the start of the season, but I expect him to break through later in the season if he is fully over his injuries. | | | |
