No McCartney then?

Those who have shelled out a couple of grand for a ticket must be feeling short-changed.

Poll: Would you be happy with Rishi Sunak as a new Saints owner?

I sincerely hope that the ticket office that the 1,000 Saints fans have to pick up their tickets from is as far away from the players entrance as possible - preferably the other side of the stadium, or as has been posted on another Everton tickets thread it really will be carnage if the ticket office is anywhere near the final destination of the Everton players coach if as Nick has said it is going to be a similar style of welcome that the Saints coach received before the West Brom P/O game. In any event I think it will be a miracle if all 1,000 Saints fans get their tickets in time to be in the ground in time for the scheduled KO. Time will tell and I am genuinely keeping everything crossed for the unfortunate people forced to collect their tickets before the game.

Hopefully they will have a ticket to ride to their new ground.

It’s the opposite side of the ground and near the away coaches so there shouldn’t be any clash.

If you aren’t going, can I have your ticket to ride?

I won’t be partaking in the whole welcoming the bus shenanigans. I ended up getting caught up in for the Brentford game a few years ago, the pyro smoke is fkn horrid and everyone ended up back in the pub looking like Smurfs with blue all over them.

Brilliant, thanks ST - had they been close to each other it would have been like doing the Krypton Factor assault course to get your tickets 😀

I'd happily pay money NOT to hear McCartney play or sing.

He really should be in a Band on the Run.

Are we expected to bring our own dog for the parade or will Everton be providing them?

I’m driving up so I can bring my Dobermann to the parade. I don’t fancy leaving it in the car, well ventilated, to guard it as the last time I parked up a mile from the ground the local scallies wanted a fiver to look after the car; when I pointed out I had a Doberman on the back seat who was quite capable of looking after the car I was was asked by the scallies how good it was at putting out fires…

I wish we still had Claus at the back.

Our defence is crying out for some Norwegian wood.

That’s good to hear that there shouldn’t be any clash.

Now Lallana is injured again I suppose you could say that if we lose at Goodson Park next weekend he will have spent the week leading up to the game watching the team Train In Vain.

Also, heartening to hear that Ross Stewart will qualify for a loyalty bonus this summer, apparently he’s looking at buying himself a Brand New Cadillac 😀
