I doubt we'll see Jac or Tomas in the Test sides, bench at a maybe, takes the edge off wanting to watch the games for me to be honest.

You think, there's a wealth of riches in the back row options selected.

Connections
Pollock will play
He's that exciting
Frankly, Tomos is lucky to be going at all
Jac is a lovely lad and triffic player but there are English Zirish Scottish 7s who are better

Jac for his size is a power house a fearless one at that, but I agree I 'll be surprised to see him start a test.

I'm not particularly bothered myself and I love the Lions tours, with only two Welsh players in the squad makes it a bit of a damp squib for me, hope Wales can pick themselves before the New Zealand Tour as I'm planning to go over for that tour.

I don’t see it that way R. It’s the British and Irish Lions so I support them all regardless of which domestic country they represent at other times.

I must say that I’m not a huge fan of those who qualify because of their time spent playing here like the South Africans an etc. starts to make a bit of a mockery of it.

I'm enigmatic if nothing else T
I'm a Farage lover and protector of St George , innit
Yet, rugby wise I'm as bitter twisted and self conscious as the most Welsh Welshy when it comes to rugby
I really am contemptuous towards England and English rugger and players
I admit that
Ireland ....I'd rather not go there
Scotland ... really the game only for the Uber posh boys or South Africans who join up there

Van der Merve, Shoemann ... do me a favour Guv

As for Jac, lovely boy , and hope he comes back safe
Tomos might get splinters on his arse

Enjoy the summer anyway

100% it shames us in my opinion, should be British born players representing the Lions, those born outside this country are brilliant players in their own right and they add lots to the game so no argument there, but I agree it does make a mockery of it.

I recall when 8 Swansea players played in a midweek game. Nowadays the absolute desecration of Welsh club rugby is almost complete.

Judgment day at the Principality stadium attendance 28,328.

Saturday at the Principality stadium. English Premiership match between Bristol and Bath attendance 51,095.

I'll just leave that there to sink in.

Wales claims rugby as its national game. But England crowds in the rugby heartlands put Welsh crowds to shame. That crowd says a lot and go to Oeucester to see what they get.

Much more interest and more passion pitch side.

It’s the media that keeps the illusion going of Wales and rugby.

Seems the WRU are about to drop a Region , Cardiff Blues will obviously be ok .

Newport Gwent Dragons apart from being beaten every week will also survive .
Of course both regions have accepted a new regieme and nodded to the WRU .

Jacks and Turks have said no , all the money is going up the M4 we are not signing .

Any bets on which Region could lose its status .

Looking at the joint Ospreys/Scarlets statement last week that's not what they said.

Even BBC Cardiff are reporting the WRU have bailed out The Blues to a tune of £9 million .

They want their money back by defunding a Region , two areas in their sights to balance their books .

Good luck to the Turks and Jacks fighting back aginst Cardiff , we have now got a downgraded and falling apart St. Helens as a principle Rugby Stadium to visit .

Football has been the National game for donkeys years.
Filling a stadium a few times a year doesn’t make rugby the National game.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

World wide , rugby absolutely is national game
Ask a Saffa or a Kiwi about Welsh and sport and soccer wont be seen as such
Sadly, another case of divisions in Wales
East west north south , Welsh speaker /English speaking and rugby v football

We could always try and join the English system, St Helens wouldn't be big enough then, but my god it would kill the WRU.
