My understanding is that in the PL Cup you can field five over age players.
Does that meant Brentford could play Mbuemo, Wissa, Damsgard etc, or is there a limit on who the over age players are?
If they can, do you think they would? Would the risk of injury outweigh the allure of silverware? Or would it be considered not sporting?

Although you can name 5 players over 21, only 2 of those can have made 40 or more appearances for the 1st team (starter or sub) so I guess that rules out most of the Brentford big guns. |  |

We played Kolli, Morgan, Bennie and Sutton in the semi. Some of them where involved in the earlier rounds and I believe they are all under 21.
Can't think of anyone else they could play that would be under the 40 appearance threshold.

I think we'll see a very similar side to the one that played the semi final v Burnley. As mentioned, Salamon might play in place of Shepperd, and I'm interested to see if Talla or Aoraha are included in the squad. Their experience and physicality could be beneficial. |  | | |
