Think people sometimes forget that players are human and how hard it must be to move thousands of miles around the world to a completely alien culture where you don’t speak the language and are still expected to put in world class performances every week.

It's becoming more and more apparent that the Luke Williams era was a complete waste of time.
There was quite a lot of strong feeling around the end of last year that despite our mid table position he was getting nothing like the best out of the players he had available and stories like this just add weight to those beliefs. |  |

He didn't t play particularly well (like a number of players) first half of the season, and just goes to illustrate what a poor manager Williams was. He was tactically inept, incredibly poor with the media and this suggests a poor man manager also. I'd also specialty he did very little to actually motivate the players. Talk about stealing a living. | | | |

This is why you can't just rely on league placing to decide if a manager is maximising what he has. League placings can be temporary and masking deeper issues.
