Perpetrator would literally have been beaten to death if the police hadn’t rescued him.

Shame they did.

Son took his kids over for the parade
Just as well they choose to watch in Allerton
And to think all the worry before was about using flares
Life and luck

The more you see of it looks like the driver panicked he was tailgating the ambulance and ended up where he shouldn't have been he tried reversing and thats when it all kicked off

Not excusing his behaviour in any way all my thoughts are with the injured and thankfully nobody died

Now being reported as yet another very serious drug related incident in Liverpool resulting in attempted murder charges.

Is there anything that can be done about the drug issue in Liverpool and the surrounding areas, and indeed across the UK ?

Five years inside for possession class a
Three for class b
and one for class c.

Intention to supply dependent on volume but double above for the minimum.

That would work, yes the prisons are full, so build more. They manage to pay out for hotels in the millions for ā€˜migrants’, so let’s get it going, spineless UK.

People querying the number plate, mot etc and saying not every vehicle has to have an mot etc if the car belonged to certain organisations etc
There is probably nothing in the number plate angle but that is why some people are pondering what his occupation is/was.

More likely not to have an MOT because.... Couldn't be bothered to get an MOT! Nothing to do with occupation. Unlike Tax, or insurance, continuous MOT is not actively enforced in the UK, it's simply a requirement to Tax the vehicles and is only checked at that point or if a road side spot check by the police.

There are supposed to be 34m cars on UK roads, around 5m of them don’t have a valid MOT. That’s staggering.

It's not actively enforced. DVLA have a department who monitors unlicensed (taxed) vehicles and issues penalties to the registered keeper for those who don't comply. They also do the same for vehicles without a valid insurance policy which aren't declared off road. DVSA do not do the same for vehicles which have not got a valid MOT. Rationale is that a vehicle must have an MOT in place to allow them to tax the vehicle annually from the point the vehicle is at least 3 years old therefore making sure that one is done each year the vehicle is taxed. Unfortunately that doesn't mean individuals always comply with any of those three. Some don't even register the vehicle in their own name and therefore will not receive any correspondence relating to Tax or insurance. Was a lot more difficult to hide before they got rid of the tax disc. Now you could only potentially be caught if physically pulled over by the police.

Sentence lighter though by car

Much higher numbers in jail and much higher reoffending than other comparable countries. Something is wrong with our justice system.

Just locking up more is not the answer.
