Total expected television-related earnings 18:15 - Jun 15 with 1376 views | dmm | Is this article by the click bait site, Football League World, correct? The majority of QPR's broadcasting revenue next season will from the earlier-mentioned agreement with Sky Sports, which runs until 2028/2029 and guarantees £895m in rights fees. QPR will receive approximately £3m - £4m annually as their share of this deal, with additional earnings possible through facility fees of between £500k - £1.5m per match when their games are selected for live broadcast. International television rights also contribute another £1m to £2m to the club's annual income. The R's will also benefit from around £5m in solidarity payments from the Premier League, with the EFL's central income distribution bringing their total expected television-related earnings to about £11m. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/how-much-money-qpr-will-earn-from-sky-sports-t

Total expected television-related earnings on 18:46 - Jun 16 with 978 views | BrianMcCarthy | Is this correct? Huge money, but how is it decided which games are on Sky? Do we have a specific minimum amount of games, because if not at £500k-£1.5m per match there could develop an elite within this Division.

Total expected television-related earnings on 19:28 - Jun 16 with 895 views | stevec | £11 million is a considerable sum assuming it’s then spent wisely. Think we know where it all ends up. I’d like to see the TV companies stipulate that 20%, say £2 million, has to be ring fenced for ground improvements in the Championship, per season, or you lose that £2 mill the following season. We need something to twist the arms of our owners to invest in actual ground improvements and not just papering over the cracks.
Total expected television-related earnings on 19:48 - Jun 16 with 870 views | FDC | Isn't the key part of this the final paragraph "This figure is similar to many other teams in the league - who typically earn between £9.5m to £12.5m from broadcasting sources." So, nothing specific to QPR, just lots more money sloshing around the league, inflating player salaries and fees etc?

Like Sky Sports Leeds. Or the anticipated focus on Birmingham and Wrexham's celebrity owners.

There is a minimum amount of games for each Championship club. QPR must have been on at least 6 times (home games) last season so a minimum of £3m additional payments , which just about makes the switching of ko times palatable given how cash strapped the club is. If the payments are more at the £1-1.5m mark than I would be OK if they select another 6 games this season. Maybe we would have more leeway when it comes to buying and selling players.
