AC/DC tonight 22:58 - Jun 26 with 1255 viewsloftboy

Was superb, sat in a Stand similar to Gillingham’s away end!
Considering their ages they moved about the stage and performed like youngsters.
Judging by the close ups on the big screen they must have played in Turkey as Angus’s teeth were Snow White and perfectly. In line!
Had a great view and was a great place for a concert.
Thought it would take ages to get away, concert finished at 9:45, was back in a bar by 11.
Would recommend Prague as well, haven’t seen any stag parties or Brits behaving badly.
Beer is fantastic and still a lot cheaper than the UK.

Considering buying tickets for Sydney. What did they finish with? Angus looked well past his sell by date on the clip I saw last week

Is Brian still on vocals, thought he went deaf?

Guns n Roses were pretty good at Wembley too.Slash was fantastic for the whole 3 hours and 15 minute show.I wish I could’ve swapped my Budweiser for your Czech beer though.

He just don't cut It for me, He's alright I suppose but when I last saw them live he was struggling getting ''up there''

Of course Bon Scott was never gonna be replaced, for me.

Angus Is Angus and unique but I used to love watching Malcolm Young playing them chords loud and proud on that Gretsch.

Great, great band.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Yep and sounded as I thought he would, they did have a minute or so between each song though, hardly surprising given their age.

I’ve been drinking a lot of the dark beer, Közel being my particular favourite.

First saw them in the Red Cow in Hammersmith and then watched them move through the gears to play four nights on the HTH tour at the Hammersmith Odeon - 1979. Bon was the Master and Commander and in that period they were untouchable as a live act - just a sonic assault.
Last saw them in 2001 in the US and they were still pretty good. Having watched some of the recent tour via YT they seem to have played around with the tuning and Brian can hardly hit a note.
Off to see the mighty Maiden tomorrow!

Me too.Pitch standing.I made the mistake of not rushing to get in last night thinking that they won’t be on until 8pm.They started at 7pm and played for over 3 hours, but I missed the 1st 4 songs, including welcome to the jungle.
I put my beer down and thought I’d listen to the support band before moving towards the front. Then I saw Slash on the big screen and realised it was them after all. What band starts a gig at 7pm?

I was at GnR last night too. I thought the sound quality was appalling. Tried moving around to different areas but it wasn't any better. Was a shame as they put on a great show visually, but the guitars were way too low in the mix. Could hardly hear them

Same - got to Wembley Park about 7.15 and walking up Wembley way, as we got closer to the stadium we thought hang on.....that sounds like GnR. Missed at least half an hour of the show by the sounds of it

I was to the left of the pitch towards the front and the sound wasn’t too bad apart from Axl’s mic.I couldn’t hear him for a lot of the early songs, but they seemed to have solved the problem for the last hour.Overall I thought they weren’t as loud as I was expecting, apart from the last 30 minutes.Maybe I’m going mutton?

it definitely wasn't loud enough!
Poor mix and low volume = disappointing gig experience.
It's a shame - I've seen em loads of times before (first time at Donningotn in 1988 - showing my age there) but the last couple of times have been sub par. Think I may be done with seeing them live now - 3 hour plus show is all well and good but I found it got a bit boring tbh. Not what I thought I'd ever say about a GnR gig

It was my 1st time watching them live, and it was probably 35 years too late for both of us.Some of their biggest hits were great, but others weren’t very good. I don’t think I’ll bother again either though. It was half empty too,so a lot of people voted with their feet I guess.

well yeah I guess they did - although there was a lot of conflicting info out there on stage times so a lot of people (including me and my mates) didn't know it was due to start at 7.

hope you enjoy Linkin Park. A mate saw them at Hellfest last week and said they were great. Emily seems to be hitting her strides now and setttling right in. I would love to go to that tomorrow, but I'll be over in East London seeing Iron Maiden

Gig was over by 9pm and it was still light walking out

I guess you missed the birds showing their gothams off at about 7.15 last night then?Unfortunately one young lady had her back to me while she lifted her top and I wasn’t quick enough to run the 50 yards to get in front of her,but one seemed intent on showing off her ample chest muscles a few yards away. There’s never a camera handy when you need it is there?

Indeed - saw a few fans heading there on the Met line yesterday around 4.30 but I thought they just wanted to get there early and get on the Budweisers...
