Why do they announce it before the medical is done?
We have had several embarrassing situations in the past after making announcements

Club haven't said anything.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I'll believe it when Tom Coleman says it highly lightly. Wait a minute........

This signing (hopefully) shows that we're still benefiting greatly from our seven seasons in the PL.

Ethan would have been ten when we were promoted. He will have seen the Swans competing against all the big clubs for all that time, also us winning the League Cup and beating Valencia away.

So when other clubs (Charlton and Huddersfield - correct ?) are competing with us those seven years will have resonated with him. And any other player in their twenties that we may be looking at will have had a similar experience.

There are many other things that players will take into account when making a decision about who to sign for but the positive of the PL years is a substantial one.

Keith, those other 2 deals waiting in the wings. Were they alternates to Galbraith and now discarded, or, are they potentially representing another mf coming in shortly

I think it may help but I think Sheehan at the helm, the raft of new signings and presumably a visit to the superb training facilities would all have been instrumental in his decision making I’d have thought John.

Agree uj. We maybe forget sometimes that we have got a PL standard training facility at Fairwood and that can be a huge part of a players decision.
