I hate the fact that we have to pay through the nose for the food....

The Law of Opportunity Cost.

Price of pie = £5.....sell 100

Price of Pie = £3......sell 300

Doesn't anyone understand this concept...

I don't even look at the price of the food and beverages anymore. I got so fed up of drinking poor quality flat beer in plastic glasses and pies burnt on the bottom that I spend nothing inside the stadium. Very disappointing I know, but the match day experience for me is a nice lunch away from the ground with a couple of drinks, sitting down with good company. Granted the last part I could have inside the ground but the rest is not available unless I purchase hospitality.

I just wish they would give a bit of value. Swansea is not swimming in money....quite the opposite...so why do they see fit to charge so much. Make the food and beer affordable...subsidise it...give something back to the supporters.

If you price it right...you'll sell a lot more anyway and probably make more profit....

2 things they pick on.

Location makes it difficult for away fans. Yes ok you can agree but.then to say that crowds hover at 15.000.
Other clubs attendances would be boosted due to location.
Prices of pies being a deal breaker in making it a bad day out?

Meaningless article based on poor criteria.

Totally agree, how many will go to watch the brum derbies this season, then go to Yorkshire and Lancashire where away ends will be filled because there's less than an hours travelling.

Not to forget we had a poor 6 months until Sheehan took over or the average would be worse.

Then look at prices and quality, our club has poor food and drink, poor and expensive.

Agree it's a pretty banal article.....great click bait as all of us want to know where we stand..

Nobody NEEDS to eat or drink at a game
Someone bought me a beer once at a game
That's it

Football for me like many others is a day/evening out. The time of KO's now often coincide with meal time, the social side is part of the event. Those who go to matches will understand, those who walk to the kitchen make a cup of tea and go back to their TV won't.

Greggs is full before a game. A quarter of the price of the grub inside the stadium.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I haven't bought food or beer at any ground in this country for years.

Both food and beer are poor and expensive.

Exactly I'm sure you can go a couple of hours without a pint or food, same goes for people who can't wait for a fag when you see them outside the arrivals after a 3hr flight FFS.

I always have a good fill of decent food and beer before a game and a few after.

It will start 2 weeks tomorrow at Cheltenham 😉

An article written by AI...based on what it had found on fans forums at a guess....
So how real is it?
Agree about the quality and cost of the catering at the stadium though vastly overpriced and poor

Travel wise , we were supposed to have a West Wales Metro system being built, we can all guess where that money will be going instead

Bristol city pies pasties are awesome. So I don't agree with al. Getting in pubs around QPR I do agree is hard for the away fan. Derby got Travelodge by the ground so it's ok but food drinks railway station is through the roof.

Better food and beer to be had at cheaper prices, isn;t there. I'm sure I saw you at Rossi's once

So many little things could be done - I know the club do surveys but do they really listen to the supporters? For instance habe some proper beer in the bars - I wouldn’t drink Madri or Carling if my life depended on it. Stella Unfiltered - yes please

Clarks pies - the Cardiff fans go to snack are actually based in Bristol (can’t even claim them!). I had one from my chippy there and it wasn’t great though other chippy’s pie are banging. Must have those at Ashton Gate
