Not in the know at all on this but wouldn’t be surprised to see Gilmour leave. Thought he was a cut above in the last few months of the season and I’m sure he’d have caught the eye of a few league clubs.

Difficult to keep track of all the midfield options available. His CV is impressive enough with loads of league experience. The competition for places will be intense, which is no bad thing. It is possible that all of East, Gilmour and Edward will not be in the starting 11 on day one. Whereas I would have said before that would be impossible. Let’s hope this is a wise move and not a trend of accumulating players for a specific part of the pitch which we say last season.
Will at least one contracted midfielder go out on loan. I can see it.
