I think there are different rules in League 1 but no idea how it works for a promoted team to this division.

This is what I've long wondered about. I understand that the League 1 accounts will be taken into account for their 3 year rolling FFP. What I don't understand is whether the accounts from league 1 are re-assessed.

So in league 1 funds chucked in by owners is ok, so you could have a rich owner fund a spending spree and have the accounts say you've broken even or even make a profit. So seeing as that's not allowed in the championship, do they go back and adjust it to reflect how it would have been accounted if they were in the championship or do they just look at the break even and use that?

They arnt because of their commercial income.

I think they have the highest income outside of teams receiving parachute payments, hence why they are able to spend so much.
