Madsen interview 17:00 - Jul 15 with 7783 views | Andybrat | Refreshingly honest and not scripted, love the story about the Superstore. I know we go on about the money they earn and all that but he knew he was letting us and himself down. The value of confidence is priceless, hope he delivers. I remember my Watford mate saying he was the best passer on the pitch at their place. Good luck Nico!

Madsen interview on 19:51 - Jul 16 by davman | Such a great take. Now this IS something that could give our oppos a competitive advantage rather than injury status or contract lengths! Great piece by the club though... |
Speaks really well, obviously wishing him all the best for the new season!
Madsen interview on 20:42 - Jul 16 with 778 views | Logman | It's a really interesting interview. I'm not in the dismissive camp perpetrated by one individual on here who has said that the proof is in the pudding, on the pitch. My take is that he knows he has under-performed and it has been something which he has not been able to get on top of. I'd be quite interested to know if his self-esteem was gauged when we sourced him and also if this is something that we have someone attended to. The question of a sports psychologist comes up a lot but as far as I know, we don't actually have one. Seems a huge black hole to me. What do others think ?

I’d be amazed if there weren’t any sports psychologists at the club. Especially a club like us trying to follow a development model of nurturing younger players. As for Madsen we need to manage him correctly. There will be some matches and situations within matches where he will do well and others where he won’t. Maybe he won’t be up to it in this league but I don’t think this video will make the slightest bit of difference to that.

Madsen interview on 22:03 - Jul 16 with 491 views | BazzaInTheLoft | I just looked at his (very selective) stats since Oxford. Not bad. Form like this over a whole season means 9 goals and 28 assists unless my maths is wrong. I’m not writing him off yet.
