Roughyeds on 18:32 - Jul 23 with 1170 views | judd | Band Statement - Oldham RLFC Read Below 👇 We have been receiving lots of messages, emails and have been tagged in lots of posts over the last few days asking what is happening with our residency for Oldham RLFC for the remainder of the 2025 season. It seems a couple of different narratives are making the rounds and we would like to put what's happened to bed. Last week the club contacted us and told us that we would not be performing at the final 3 home games of the season. We were told that due to low attendance the club have been forced to cut costs and in doing so could no longer afford to pay out for live entertainment because of this. A few days later the club openly advertised on Facebook and Instagram that they are looking for singers and bands to perform live entertainment in the fans bar on match days for the final three games of this season. The band are all completely gutted and saddened by the way Oldham Rugby have been with us after what has been on the whole a wonderful couple of years working with the club. We are proud of what we have achieved and that we could help contribute to Roughyeds returning to the big stage in professional sport. We have made lifelong friends and made many great memories. We do wish the players (who are performing excellently, by the way) and the fans all the best in the push for making the Super League We have two final band performances this year: Party in The Park Delph 27th September Streetbridge Inn 22nd November We will no longer be representing Oldham Rugby League in any capacity, you will not find us in the Fans Bar beneath the Joe Royle stand on match days. Kieran, Harry, Charlie, Luke The Boundary Parkas | |
