Exactly that.

Had a crack at his dream making a few quid in the way and comes back with most of his career in front of him.

I don’t blame him having a go and chasing the dream. We knock people for having no ambition and then we knock people when they have a go and fail.
I never thought he’d make it in the first place because it’s a massive ask, learning to play a game at that elite level when you’ve never played before, especially when you’re in your 20’s.

There are less than 2,000 professional players and practice squad players in the NFL, so the odds were always stacked against him and anyone else for that matter.

He wasted time at the start as a running back. He was always a wide receiver.

Wise sage since Toshack era

Great post, he had the gumption to go and give it a go ok it don't exactly work, but he chased his dream. Its a stupid game in my opinion never had any interest in the sport, my eldest watches or he did at least, 4 hrs sitting a stadium with pom pom girls bobbing about and the smell of Burgers wafting through the air has as much appeal to me as listening to Starmer or Dreadful chatting shite.

Welcome Back Louis, plenty of young decent talent coming through just lacking in experience at the moment.
