Tom Brady on 11:55 - Aug 5 with 1030 views | pencoedjack | Yes watched it all & I have to agree he's a knob but without doubt very focused & driven to win. I have to agree with them about the potential at Birmingham City, a real sleeping giant. I wouldn't be surprised if they are in the PL within 3 seasons.

I hope our lot are ambitious. Can’t say if they are knobs or not as hardly anyone knows anything about them as individuals. Being a figurehead for any club can work both ways, adulation when things go well, abuse when not going so well. He has overseen success in the main since the appointment of Chris Davies, probably learnt a lot after the appointment & failure of Rooney

PSR is our Achilles heel. We have wealthy owners who I’m sure if PSR wasn’t a thing or was a little more relaxed would put more money in. Our owners need to focus on the marketing and off-field success of the club. Bums on seats is the first consideration. Every matchday should be an experience that makes them want to come again. Good, affordable food and drink, entertainment, incentives whatever. They’ve clearly stated some intention with the engaging of both Modric (from the on field side) and Snoop Dog (on the off-field side). Both these names raise worldwide recognition of the club but we need more. Selling merch is big in the list too so novel ideas needed there. Make the Swan a worldwide logo, recognise wherever you go. Revenue from these sources increases our ability to spend more without breaching PSR. It’s all about being ahead of the curve.

Tom Brady on 17:16 - Aug 5 with 718 views | KeithHaynes | The situation for me is simple, they find value, place a price on that player and won’t be suckered into ridiculous demands. That’s how to keep a solvent club which then can slowly build towards getting rid of PSR. As for in ground entertainment they should be right on the ball come the first home game, if it’s a shit show fingers should be pointed at the CEO.

If Gorringe wants to improve the "match experience" either he gets out of hospitality and mixes with the supporters and takes a look at what the situation currently is or pay someone to look and report back. Start with public transport/parking, tickets on the day and the current club shop queues, queues at the East Stand gates [why are we queueing to get searched but not the West or South], have something to eat and drink on the concourse and decide if it is acceptable then sit through the dross of half time entertainment. Then let us know what you think, you provided a survey, we answered let's see this season if you have taken any notice. Tubs of Joe's ice cream is not the answer. Rant over.

accordingly priced food and drink on the concourse would probably increase the number of people in the ground before kick off and make more at half time. I know it isn't done but it is a shame from a retail point of view that half time wasn't longer. There have to be ways of increasing revenue because surely Rectum don't get that much cash from Disney as they are also in the money making game and the same goes for United as a sponsor. To me, their numbers just don't add up.

With Cold Winter games in mind especially the Wrexham game (Cawl see) 4 Large cauldrons of hot cawl (Welsh Soup) in the concourses. 2 ladles per bowl and 2 slices of crusty bread and butter for £6 . It will take seconds to serve . Cauldrons of cawl can be made and cooked locally using fresh local ingredients the day before and transported to the ground by van 4 hours or so before kick off . Cawl can then be ladled to a smaller cauldron where it can be heated up before k.o to be served and also at halftime . Recipe - 1kg/2lb 3oz neck of lamb (on the bone), preferably Welsh, cut into serving pieces 2 litres/3 pints 10½fl oz lamb stock 225g/8oz potatoes, peeled and roughly chopped 225g/8oz onions, roughly chopped 225g/8oz leeks, trimmed and sliced into 1cm/½in slices 225g/8oz carrots, peeled and roughly chopped 225g/8oz swede, peeled and roughly chopped This serves 4 people. therefore multiply it by at least 400 for a home attendance . That's 1600 times 6 = £9600 (will probably sell out on a cold night) . If it's made well people will buy again . Builthy will know where to get cheap good quality Welsh lamb , good fresh local farm vegetables courtesy of Carmarthen /LLandeilo Jacks knowledge. Job's a good 'un . Consultancy Fee pending ...........

In the Lorient friendly game queues to get in the west stand turnstiles 6-10 not really an issues but queues inside for pre-ordered refreshments off the electronic system but it looked as if each order weren't being prepared before each person with an ordered got to the front of the queue, didn't bother with ordering refreshments (which luckly was not available on the East Stand concourse last season). The service is a lot better in the Mel Nurse Bar and you have free WiFi there. Good quick service and free WiFi are a minimum expectation in any part of the ground. At one time a drink at half time was the norm, no.point now on the East concourse as you don't get time to drink it. And the cost. Edit.. Sorry more of a rant to add to Whiterockin's rant rather than your Cawl post. [Post edited 6 Aug 9:35]

The Brum idea is to have the ir stadium surrounded by diverse multiple food /drink outlets . A bit like Twickenham or Edgbaston The club will obviously get a rent and /or commission from each. High class dining to more ordinary. They will also have fan hotels on site because its a huge area they are buying if it all gets cpmpleted. Stadium crowd will be bigger as well win win situation .
