The whole system is fcuked. I spoke to a lady today who runs a childcare business. She gets paid less than her wage costs for free places from the Government. Because of her staff structure her NI costs have doubled since the last budget.
She has to charge a premium to those who have to pay to balance the books. She says that if five full paying places were lost from her business she would have to close down, she employes 12 people.

Sadly the Party of the working man alledgedly is equaly corrupt to the core as seen by another chancer trying to make a fast buck , gladly she has resigned but still be a wealthy Politician with her other iffy dealings .

This is the sixth ministerial resignation in little more than a year. I suppose one could argue that the cash value of the wrong-doing is smaller than something like the dodgy PPE contracts of the Tories, but the levels of venality, hypocrisy and spin don't seem much different.
