Could be, not sure if the desire to be cat 1 as stated yesterday is affected by that ? Unless they build on Fairwood 🤷🏻‍♂️

Two goals for K. Wilson tonight in a 3-2 win to kick off the season.

I just came across this quote from Mr Gorringe.

"Landore is a core asset for the football club," he said. "It's the only piece of real estate we own, and so it's incredibly important to us. The academy has obviously been an area where there has been some change. We're delighted to have Ryan Davies on board with us, rejoining the club.

"We've made some changes here at Fairwood too, with the under-18s moving across here. That's a really important move as it helps us bridge that gap between that age group and the first team."

Landore is a beautiful set up in a beautiful location. (Ideal for 1000 s of new student homes unfortunately) . I hope they keep it for ever.

They could sell of a pitch. Alternatively they could sell and rent back for cash flow and PSR considerations.

If you attended a fans forum you would have actually heard what he said regarding the three sites we use and the costs involved. Basically unsustainable.

Wasn't Landore built by Morgan's construction Company and then about 3 years later has a 3rd storey built ,by then Fairwood was in the final stages of completion .

It makes me so sad that some posters still call Jenkins and Morgan traitors or 'Judas'. It beggars belief actually. I call them out. Someone has to.
