The cancer industry is a multi-billion pound industry. There is a great deal of evidence suggesting cures other than the current procedures if anyone cared to research this. The tobacco industry knew the harm smoking caused whilst still promoting the product and taking billions. There is plenty of evidence of Corporations and The State knowingly promoting harmful products whilst cashing in, the recent disaster included. Good point about the variety of cancers most of them requiring different treatment.
Before WW2, the majority of those unfortunate to suffer from cancer would die within a fairly short period of time.
It was quite difficult to detect tumours in the body and if a basic X Ray was unable to pick out the growth then the next step was an exploratory operation and by then it was generally too late..
The advent of MRI technology and the significant improvement in blood test science has made the early detection of cancerous growth much quicker.
As a consequence anyone being diagnosed with cancer has a much better prognosis now than ever before.
However there are some cancers that remain difficult to treat and there is hope that AI will assist with this.
The notorious 'They' seem to behind everything wrong with this world and, since the dawning of civilisation, there have been many theories who 'They' are.

I once saw a Pod Cast by Flat Earthers, based in the USA, who seemed to be reasonably intelligent and committed bunch but unable to come to terms with all the photographic and other information that proved the earth is round.
The ironic thing was that one woman, promoting their views said that 'people come from all around the globe' to visit their annual meeting.
With regard to MLT, I have been in the company of the man on quite a few occasions.
He comes across as a decent individual, articulate and intelligent.
I have never heard him spout off the theories he projects to a wider audience when I have been in his company.
The fact that he seems to be intent on doing so does him little credit in my eyes and dilutes his position of one of the few iconic players who have graced the club.
