Music is a thing of different tastes, one mans meat is another mans murder to semi quote one of the greatest bands of all time .
But I truly would not want to see any of the acts you have mentioned, that doesn't mean they are rubbish and Pat has no taste, it just means that we like different things at times.
I did buy the Charlatans first album when it came out back in 1990, I liked some of the songs, but overall as their career progressed I wasn't that bothered with them, I also saw Ash at that free music in the park thing that they used to put on at the Common in the late 90's early 00's, again a couple of good songs but one trick ponies I thought.
Queens of the Stoneage ( I take it that is what QoSTA is I am not down with the rock kids) are obviously big, just not my sort of thing.
I hope you enjoy the festival just remember the 3 songs rule, if they play 3 songs rule if they play 3 songs that you havent heard of or dont like then you have to leave and go up the pub

Not been to Victorious for a few years now but it is a great festival. Am going to the game tomorrow but can assure you, if I had a ticket to Victorious I would not bother with the Stoke game. Music is always my priority nowadays over and above Saints.
Just looked at the line up and would be aiming to see PSB, KoL, Bloc Party, Rev & The Makers as my key acts. If I can recommend one act to see Pat it would be October Drift. Seen them loads at Heartbreakers / Joiners and they really are underrated. Been going a decade or so but will be chucking in the towel this year with only a couple more gigs before Boeing out. Might not be your bag, but I think you might just like ‘em. Apologies if already seen them!!
Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......

Thanks fella.
Unfortunately October Drift are on in the next half-hour, which is a clash with The Charlatans, who are on the main stage in the next 10 minutes and are one of my favourite ever bands; must have seen them almost 20 times…
