Not the catchiest nickname but it’s what I’ll be calling him.

This is my hope.

He’s a bit of a crock by all accounts which makes me feel better about the possibility of shaving minutes off Esquerdinha.

Still, will be a sizeable loan fee and wages I imagine, which would be better off spent on a permanent but let’s not go there again.

I would imagine they are happy to get him (partly) off the payroll and IF there is a a loan fee it is minimal.

Welcome Rhys. Here's hoping he can stay fit and recapture old form.

I saw their announcement of his new contract 12 months ago, all the Sheffield United fans were really happy. Shows how fickle football fans are.

Seems to have struggled with the irregular gametime, hopefully we can get him back to his best

There would be a reason they are happy to get him off the payroll though.

High wages.

I'm nicknaming him Maestro - "Norrington-Davies" is the orchestra conductor's equivalent of Lennon-McCartney 🤓

Plus Norrington-Davies scans nicely with Eleanor Rigby, should anyone want to start a RND chant...

Or maybe he's just not in their plans and wants to go somewhere he can play.

Do you think the players we have out on loan are on high wages?

Both can be true, but yes, I would think our players are on high wages compared to their host clubs in most cases.

Locals view seems to be that not same since injury - left back his best position but have been playing him in centre so not at his best - steady at best apparently

Probably - and therefore doubtful that we'd be getting the full whack refunded. I'm just a little jaded that everything the club does is attacked for reasons that are frequently speculation, exaggeration or plain made up.

Especially when there's plenty that we either know as factual or can infer to be so!

If you take away speculation and exaggeration from football forums then I'm not sure what we are left with?

Favourite KFC Krushems?

I'm sorry you are jaded. These are jading times.

Steady at best - it will be like watching Maldini.
