Proven, decent Championship players a lot more exciting than unknowns. It's not rocket science. As you say top winger in the Championship is what we want, not ones from inferior leagues at a cheaper price. We know they will be good right from the off if they sign. They are proven. Got to be better than spending money on players that "might" possibly get good in years to come? How much money has been wasted on potential because they don't ever get good. Notably, recruitment has been bad, because so many players are NOT proven.
