Exactly what is "the project" that everyone is buying into. Modric came on board as did Snoop because they wanted to be part of the project. After talking to the club apparently players signed because they wanted to be part of the project. Is it purely promotion because that is the aim of most of the Championship teams or is it something else?

There's nothing around Brightons American Express Stadium

There's a train station and an excellent service into Brighton centre, free on matchday for those with a match ticket.

I know we used it when we went there the day we lost 5-1, b..tard cold stadium that day fing froze and we were sitting amongst their fans on halfway line, bit of banter with a chopsie git behind us warmed me up for a little while until he got boring

Nah. These out or town type stadiums are all a bit soulless to me. Great for parking, expansion room etc, but they lose something when they're not at least near where people are.

That's why it would need to be done absolutely properly and have a fan village, a full monty village not an excuse for ine. It would have to be something that would entice fans to turn up hours before the kick off and stay around, something there for adults and kids and probably a hotel too.

I'm talking a world class major development there but I can't see that being the end game for our project because you're looking at a billion pound investment. I don't see that happening or at least not for a long old time because we would have to be promoted AND a fixture in the EPL. That in itself is a massive spending commitment.

Those days of getting your trainers all piss stained and a dodgy Peters pie are long gone after five slurps in the Gari 😉

Those days seemed a lot more authentic, but football and the world have changed a lot since then. Gave the Peters pies a miss though, a good breakfast set me up for the day.
