Two Outcasts Return To the Southampton First Team Squad on 14:55 - Sep 12 with 2403 views | PatfromPoole | Difficult to see either of them getting much of a look-in. If I was Jay Robinson or Ryan Fraser, I would feel particularly hard done by if Edozie got in the team ahead of either of them. Both of them presumably thinking of £££££'s rather than their careers.

Two Outcasts Return To the Southampton First Team Squad on 16:55 - Sep 12 with 2254 views | felly1 | Two decent players for the Championship. Aribo is strong and a decent passer. Edozie on his day is a nightmare for some of the mediocre fullbacks he may face. It would not come as a surprise to see either one or both of them back in the team at some point as there is a fairly good chance 1 or 2 of our recent recruits may turn out to be duds.

Two Outcasts Return To the Southampton First Team Squad on 18:12 - Sep 12 with 2168 views | Ifonly | This is another aspect of how terrible our transfer dealings have been. Look at Edozie. We signed him in 2022 at a time when he hadn't even played a single competitive match. Yet we put him on such stupid wages that 3 years later, and now with 3 seasons experience under his belt, no club is prepared to offer close to what we're paying him. So despite the club wanting him to move on, he's stuck with us. I can't see him getting much game time this year unless there are lots of injuries, so the same will happen next summer and then he will run his contract down and leave in summer 2027. He was the epitome of the Man City Lite era, lots of pointless fancy moves and no end product. What a waste of money.

Indeed: both would probably get into 3/4 of the leagues’ teams. Decent for the bench, eh.

agreed and I hope both can come into the squad soon as both are more than capable although Aribo is the one for me out of the 2 who could play a big part still. I give him credit too for being played out of position last season and he just got on with the job and none of that was his fault. He could even be used up top as we don't have the best strikers as we all know and he can score a few that's for sure!
