The Loan System - A God Idea or Not ?? 09:49 - Sep 17 with 996 views | numptydumpty | I know several posters on here, are often against playing loan players, above our own, because they are not our players. Personally, i think ; 1. The calibre of player can be much improved than what we currently possess in such cases as Wayne Routledge, Kyle Walker, Nakhi Wells, Ronnie Edwards. 2. It can put us in a strong position to purchase that player, if the player goes back to the club and it doesnt work out for him at his parent club. 3. Loans can become permanent naturally. The player and club fit and we can get a high calibre player sometimes a l a Koki Saito. 4. Loans can be remembered with affection by the fans, the player and the club. In recent times put us in a strong negotiating process with players at a future time such as Isaac Hayden. 5. Loans cover where we are short . Rhys Nourrington Davies being a case in point. We basically had just a 19 year old rookie at left back this season, so makes sense and so far, this seems to be a decent option and who knows he could end up a Rangers player if he is consistent this season 6. We don't have to pay so much for a player, as we would if they were a permanent purchase. And loaning out players to develop, has worked for us also. 1. Whether its to give a player experience a la Eze and Chair. 2. To increase a players transfer sale, ie Kelman. 3. And the loaning out system works similarly for Premiership type players, who could be excellent young players with potential and we get a player higher than we could otherwise afford. So was just asking the question, anyone got any counter arguments against this. 1. I do think the mainreason, I can think of, myself is where perhaps players come here, and have to make a certain amount of appearances. Yang, last season was a strange one. As was Joe Hodge, who hardly played. 2. Would say another scenario is where a players initial deal is with the option to buy and its triggered by appearances, but really thats a purchase and a way of spreading costs over several seasons. Taylor Richards being this. Likewise lDembele, obviously one right hopefully and one clearly wrong. Although the way their particular loans set up its almost resembling a purchase as opposed to a loan in these cases. But for me, there are many reasons why this system is fine and obviously there are no guarantees like with a signing that we get these loan signings wrong occasionally, in same way as with permanent transfers in. Such as with Harrison Ashby. All those that saying they not in favour of the loans system, wondering how and why you feel that you would prefer us not to use the loan system today, as for me, its part of modern football today and clearly here to stay ?? The Loaning System - A good idea or not ?? on 09:56 - Sep 17 with 949 views | gazza1 | Wow Numpty.....you have taken that to bits!!!! Short answer is, there is good, not so good & bad reasons and probably a few more. Not going into the detail like you have but I think it is generally good for us at this current time.
The Loan System - A God Idea or Not ?? on 10:01 - Sep 17 with 920 views | golborne | The previous time Burnley got promoted they consistently played 3 in every game under Kompany. It’s to do with the quality, but also what your end goal is. If it’s promotion and you can attract the right loans it’s a no brainier
The Loan System - A God Idea or Not ?? on 10:44 - Sep 17 with 735 views | Lblock | Not so sure the idea for the loan system had divine intervention but if it was God then fair play. It gave us Adel Tarrabat initially. That is good enough for me. Here endth my post
