Hard men of today are the future arthritic OAP ,old age has caught up with the likes of Tooze ,Tracey N etc the past is the past and sometimes it should be left there.

We are a family club as seen at many of our away games. Parents with children, couples as well as the normal male contingent.

Yeah and that’s why we don’t feature on this list
Nillwall like Brum are not a family club not ever have been
The fact we squabble is because we are “ family” with all that it brings
It wouldn’t surprise you when I was deemed the black sheep of ours mainly as I rejected evangelical worship and was myself seen as difficult
When I went home to see my mums certain death my father and I had the bitterest exchange imaginable as she basically was drifting away
I could easily have strangled him , seriously because of his way with my mother over 70 years marriage
Football and the Swans was a relief but I was never a hoodie simply accepting the shite we were
We were all hot tempered though , Jesus or not
I only calmed down in my late sixties

Wait for my book

Swansea was never a place to visit without danger throughout the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s.

These days the young fighting men seem to be living at home or blobbing on social media. However, a note needs to made on our recent travelling support, it hasn’t gone completely away.

Even though the gates were tiny there was enough silly buggers (myself included ) in the early 70s who roamed around the Sandfields looking for bovver ,all the gear and no idea I must add.

Four lads stood next to me in Brum were real hard men smashing the seats in the row in front of us. Who the hell wants that in 2025?

I’ve had all the help I need from Keith
I did post awry to wind folk up but it got out of hand after the “ Scouce” episode which was when Sousa was around . It was a very subtle p take of a notorious former poster over whose head flew eight miles high
Now with poor eyesight and not able to post on tablet , that which I text comes out different
It might be outside forces

I’ve been a Miner too , for a heart of gold
