The latest Flotilla attempting to deliver aid to Gaza is apparently coming under attack from Israel in international waters in the Mediterranean, mainly said to be psychological attacks so far, this could be a damp squib of a story or it could go big, 13 British nationals said to be on board the ship/ships, apparently two ships are sailing under a British flag, if that is the case and if Israel did violently attack these ships would it be an act of war against the British ?, haven't seen any BBC coverage as of yet on these overnight psychological attacks talk of drone fireworks, chemicals, radio jammin and sound bombs so far.

I guess the Italian frigate is only there incase their nationals end up in the drink, I don't expect that to happen, I think the same will happen that happened the last time.
I know the Italian forces got a bad rap after ww2 but what if drones attack the flotilla in international waters again when the Italian frigate is alongside or Israeli commandos board the a boat with Italians on board, the Italian navy probably won't do anything but there is still potential for an incident, it would be more interesting if it was the French or British navy and a lot more if it was Spain or Ireland (there again have Ireland even got a navy). | |

That can't have been the reason as the incidents happened in the early hours, other outlets were reporting, it doesn't take 15 hours to verify that particular story, its the beeb is right wing pro Israel biased (and always has been), beeb journalists have said in the recent past that they report what's happening on the ground but it doesn't get past the beeb editors or is heavily changed so the public get a pro Israel slant that is not what the reporters witness on the ground. | |

Italy and Spain are in NATO, Israel is not a full member only a partner apparently and an attack on one NATO country is an attack on them all (or something like that), there again Israel is backed by USA and the USA are in NATO, probably nothing will happen. | |

Will Israel now wait because of the warships until the flotilla arrive in what they will claim is their waters, there again if these navy warships countries recognise Palestine as a state (and I think Spain does) then perhaps Israel doesn't have any territorial waters off the coast of Gaza. | |
