So do I but I repeat there’s no point being in a league you can’t compete in. Our top signings ever are in the 20-24 million bracket, at the moment we spend around 8 to 10 million on individual players. In the premier league you need to spend 40-45 million on individual players just to survive which we won’t do . look what Sunderland did they spent a fortune and are doing well. Even the likes of Bournemouth and Brighton can afford to spend 30 to 40 million on players because they’ve established themselves and pushed on and sold and recruited really well and also recieved huge amounts of money just by bring in the premier league .We've fallen behind.
The only thing I will say is Solak recently said if we did get promoted he would look to help from another investor. If that happened we may be able to compete but until then no point getting humiliated week in week out paying peanuts on players. |  |
