Good luck to both teams today . Lots of big sport today . Deserves a mention. Been some very decent rugby and great crowds.

If both teams play like they did in the semi finals, then I think Canada could narrowly win this one.

A reaaonably sized wager between myself and Mrs PH on this one.

In typical Canadian fashion, she's downplaying their chances while raising England to near invincible status. I know what she's doing here, and I ain't biting. Come k.o. it all be 'elbows up' and all that Canadian good manners BS goes out the window in favour of unleashed vicarious violence displayed through ice hockey!

C'mon England...please/Allez l'Angleterre...svp.

England just look head and shoulders above everything, no-one has really given them a close game.

That said its clear the gap between a full professional team and one that isn't. And the Canadians were brilliant against New Zealand last week, but they've had to crowd fund elements of their trip to England, just shows the difference funding can make.

Congratulations to the Red Roses! It was mentioned that the 82k crowd was the 2nd largest for a WC final both mens or women's.

That's what I'm talkin' abooot. Eh?

One side of the sofa decidedly happier then the other at Chez Planet.

Well done our girls!!! To be fair, great effort by Canada given the disparity in funding.

It's like expecting Brighton to win at Chelsea in the EPL isn't it?

The grass is always greener.
