It would be the best stadium in League One/Two.

By comparison, if you considered the Wrexham population and looked to extend the Liberty to make it a comparable size allowing for Swansea's population, our place would need to be about 200,000 capacity.

No need to say any more.

Bigger than Everton’s new ground
Ironic as there are thousands of Everton fans on NE Wales
It would either be the greatest and most ambitious project ever or simple madness
They mean business though

Frankly , as regards a well context , Wrexham is well below both Swansea and Cardiff and it shows how little ambition we’ve truly had

I would say different times and different rules. Wrexham were bought when a lower league team and PSR has not been an issue up until now. We were bought when in the Premier League by owners who didn't have a clue how to run a football club and every time they employed someone who did ignored them and we have been on a PSR tightrope ever since. If Wrexham don't go up this season or next their financial commitment will get them a points deduction as a minimum. MK Dons and their stadium is a perfect example of how things can go wrong.

Our previous owners had both a lack of ambition AND were clueless too.

What Wrexham are apparently planning would be insanity. There are much bigger places than Wrexham that aren't so close to genuinely big clubs that would never dream of a stadium that big and for very good reason. Ambition has to be tempered by common sense.

A 55k stadium in Wrexham would be a massive waste of money and probably wouldn't be full every week in the EPL unless they gave away fans 20000 tickets.

Look at Blackburn last night. Building a huge stadium for your short time in the sun looks pretty bad when you go back to the lower leagues.

Did the opening post say 55K capacity ?, you what, you what,, you what, you what, you what.

I heard they had plannng for a 5,500 capacity stand not a 55,000 stadium but are now trying to get an extra 2,250 seats which would give them an 18,000 capacity stadium in total.
I guess if they got to the Premier league they would look at things again.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

Wrexham 55k this must be a joke.

When the US actors get bored they will be back where they belong in tier 4.

I hope we put them in their place twice this season 👍
