If we had played anyone else in the championship tonight we would have lost, fortunately for us Oxford was just as poor.

I thought before the game that if we don't beat Oxford by 2 goals today, in other words scoring 2 goals more at home against a fancied for relegation team then we're going to have a very long and boring season.

How can we only have 1 shot on target in 90 minutes? The XG for both teams must be something like 0.10. We've suffered with creativity for years now but last night was poor.

I consider last night and the game against Sheffield Wednesday as 4 points dropped. We need to be picking up more points against these teams before we start facing the challenging fixtures.

Better than last years corresponding fixture and we won that one.
Not great fare to be honest but we move on . Not losing any sleep over it.
A month ago I left Coventry with 25 minutes to go .
I’d say it’s progress of sorts.
Millwall at 12.30 in a few weeks . We always win the early ones now.

That one is down to the Manager primarily, making 5 changes - wtf!!!

In saying that the players have got to do a lot better, many were poor on the night.

Pretty much it... at the game last night we were all saying 5 changes... does JS think we are Liverpool (possibly a bad examlpe) or Man City (even worse example).... that we can effect that many changes without struggling?

Saying that I thought Oxford did OK... as mentioned they have had a few decent results... so are no mugs. Also thought they defended very well... well enough to easily stop us

Disappointed.... definitely. Would be lovely this morning to be sitting 3rd and going on Saturday for a "promotion" 3 pointer lol

But Brizzle will come at us, and we are proven to be a counter team...

I think last night JS was hoping to scrape this one... and on to Saturday.... Best made plans of mice and men etc.

I don't think QPR and Oxford should be allowed to play each other any more.
No good comes of it.

Never knowingly right.

But we were equally as bad against Sheffield Wednesday with the so-called A team in full effect, where they were all outshone by a 35-year old Barry Bannon.

I personally am quite happy about that, as it appears that players like Bannon who have a football brain, have that ability to find space even under pressure and are seemingly always available to receive/offer themselves as a passing option, still have a key role to play in the helter-skelter of the modern game. Yesterday, like Saturday was dire and it's clear that we still have problems playing any semblance of coherent football if a team decides to apply the high press against us.

But Oxford had nobody in Bannan’s class last night, and were there for the taking. We wasted 60 minutes with the wrong team in my opinion.
