international call ups on 13:51 - Oct 15 by Jeff

like absolutely every club in the country at the moment, we have a song based on 'Sway' by Much Mambo / Dean Martin / other various people before that, and Saito is our recipient of it.

i was at Tooting and Mitcham on Saturday in the international break and we had a version of that going there amongst the 50 odd fans

Please tell me Tooting has a brass band.

Gazza, I pointed out some of the problems of long haul travel and flying. Not all of them happen every time to everybody. I feel you have turned full circle and now are going 'over the top', albeit I think it might be 'tongue in cheek'. The club will probably carry out various tests to facilitate recovery and how many minutes they would recommend.

FWIW I think, Jimmy and Smythy, no problem. Saito back on Wednesday evening, should be ok for most of not all of the game. Kolli has been to Somalia and Algeria. Not too far and minimal time change, should be ok. Burrell and Haydn will be back very late, maybe Friday morning. Burrel bench, Hayden rest and available for Swansea and Derby.

Wasn't Jamaica's last game this month played yesterday, Tuesday evening? Would think they travelled back today Wednesday too.

'Hayden's form has been very average...'

He's literally played about 90 minutes in total so far.

Er yeah was going to say the same thing

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

I do not detest or have a real opinion. The only opinion I have is that your post is well OTT but, hey, maybe you are 100% right. All I say is that these men are 'professional athletes', super fit, strong, etc, etc.......not the normal guys sitting in the 'cattle truck' seats unable to move around for a few hours, etc, etc, eating rubbish from the stewards trolley.

I, just, wonder what players will do when the next World Cup is being played in USA, Mexico & Canada.....your post suggests there will be major health issues for the players, flying here there and everywhere.

Well they will be there well before, so time to acclimatise. Coast to coast is only a three hour time change and a four hour flight, so not long haul and I don't think they will catching the 'red eye', so a lot less issues than during an international break.

Yes my mistake, maybe arrive back Thursday morning. It's usually an overnight flight from the Caribbean.
