international call ups on 10:46 - Oct 12 by dmm | Jamaica play Bermuda on Wednesday, so Burrell and Hayden won't be back until Thursday. I can see them left being out of the matchday squad against Millwall on Saturday, particularly as it'll be a three game week. |
Jamaica v. Bermuda kicks off at 1 in the morning our time. JA get the game won first half. Isaac & Rumarn subbed off and straight to the airport. They’ll be back home for Wednesday night. Two days kip and a couple of cans of Irish Moss for breakfast Saturday and they’ll be good to go against Millwall. Hold Rumarn back for second half and give Isaac the job of cutting the HT oranges. Squad Rotation 1 Jet Lag 0.
international call ups on 13:32 - Oct 14 with 1868 views | JamesB1979 | Koki didn’t play a minute today and only 30 minutes last week. So, provided he doesn’t decide to drink the bar dry on the plane back, he should be fine to start on Saturday.

international call ups on 14:29 - Oct 14 with 1652 views | BrazilNutR | I was watching the end 30 mins of the Japan v Brazil game, a 3-2 win, hoping Saito would get some minutes, and be part of the first time Japan have ever beaten Brazil. It was like a world cup final, hopefully motivates him being inovolved in that to want to go to the WC,
international call ups on 14:43 - Oct 14 with 1614 views | HAYESBOY | Watched the full game earlier. Japan went 2 down first half. Martinelli with the 2nd. Lots of Prem players for Brazil. 2nd half Japan much better and deserved the come back win. As confirmed, Saito unused sub. He did get 30 mins v Paraguay in the previous match. Jamaica played end of last week and lost 2 nil. I couldn't see Hayden mentioned anywhere. Burrell was an unused sub. https://www.flashscore.co.uk/match/football/curacao-bLLGpOkQ/jamaica-CWmDb3zj/su

If you must have socials get a 'guardian angel' to vet and filter it before you see it. Maybe the club comms dept could set something up, for all the players if they want it, and get some volunteers to do the vetting.

Agree but the post was from August 2024, so hopefully this has been resolved now. I was talking about Saito but we’ve gone down a Kolli tangent.

Ha ha, yes. Sorry, must concentrate more. No, as far as I know, Koki isn't a Muslim.

Have we got a song for Saito yet? If not the Hokey KOKI from the safe standing areas would be hilarious and those in the seats could join in with the arms bit. I feel sure he would be very very happy!

Hayden's form this year has been very average so I do not believe his non involvement is not an issue.......presume by some of the posts that he needs to rest for two weeks to recover. Burrell is very different.....we need his pace and his involvement in the match but apparently he will be 'worn out' travelling on a aeroplane so will not be involved. We will see.

like absolutely every club in the country at the moment, we have a song based on 'Sway' by Much Mambo / Dean Martin / other various people before that, and Saito is our recipient of it. i was at Tooting and Mitcham on Saturday in the international break and we had a version of that going there amongst the 50 odd fans

Gazza, I pointed out some of the problems of long haul travel and flying. Not all of them happen every time to everybody. I feel you have turned full circle and now are going 'over the top', albeit I think it might be 'tongue in cheek'. The club will probably carry out various tests to facilitate recovery and how many minutes they would recommend. FWIW I think, Jimmy and Smythy, no problem. Saito back on Wednesday evening, should be ok for most of not all of the game. Kolli has been to Somalia and Algeria. Not too far and minimal time change, should be ok. Burrell and Haydn will be back very late, maybe Friday morning. Burrel bench, Hayden rest and available for Swansea and Derby.

I think Burrell will start. No minutes on international duty. Hayden as you say not as important and will be on the bench imo.

'Hayden's form has been very average...' He's literally played about 90 minutes in total so far.

I do not detest or have a real opinion. The only opinion I have is that your post is well OTT but, hey, maybe you are 100% right. All I say is that these men are 'professional athletes', super fit, strong, etc, etc.......not the normal guys sitting in the 'cattle truck' seats unable to move around for a few hours, etc, etc, eating rubbish from the stewards trolley. I, just, wonder what players will do when the next World Cup is being played in USA, Mexico & Canada.....your post suggests there will be major health issues for the players, flying here there and everywhere.
