We have been in and out of games in the league and the cup. There is improvement from last season so I don't expect miracles. Well beaten today by technically better players. Never like losing but we are where we are. I not having a go at the manager I would never rest Galbraith he is vital for us even at 70 per cent. So we move on. |  | | |  |

On hearing Darling and O'Brien were leaving in the summer, I'd have been happy with 12th. After the transfer window, not so happy. We have to start winning at home. Just one win out of 5 games, and that was against the bottom team. The back-to-back home games against QPR and Norwich are now huge. | | | |

There hasn’t been an improvement from last season. We had about the same number of points from our first nine games and more points from Alan Sheehans first nine games.
If you compare it to Luke Williams’ disastrous run from thinking he was going to West Brom, then yes, but not compared to the first nine of the season or Sheehans first nine.
Three things that have improved are first team quality, squad depth and team spirit/camaraderie. Sheehan must get the credit for the team spirit, but I’d think the other two should increase expectations of him.
