I've given up complaining about lack of warm-up matches, but it doesn't make it any less true.
(I also think it'd be a great way to support 1st Class cricket in the host country.)
On the England batting: I really feel Root has a point to prove in Oz and, given his form over the last year or two, this could be his time - which could be decisive. |  | | |

A few people on FB were saying that warmup matches are a waste of time because Australia A won’t want to bust a gut to help England prepare properly,and our bowlers won’t want to get injured playing against them either.
I would say that every Aussie would love to play against an England test team and see what they could do against them.Maybe our bowlers are too fragile to play too many warm up games though. |  | | |
