Please make it happen.

There are fully grown English adults with responsible jobs, kids and a mortgage, that have never witnessed the delights of watching Scotland make a complete arse of themselves on the world stage. That isn't right.

Pasty-faced ging-gers plastered with factor 50, complete with tam o'shanters and tartan skirts, spending four weeks singing anti-English songs, only to end up blubbing their eyes out as they go out in the group stages. Happy days!

This is absolute solid gold from 1978.

The funniest thing about 1978 (apart from Alan Rough in goal and that freekick wall) is that many of Ally’s Army thought they could actually win it.

The footballing gods have rightly punished their p-heads fans for desecrating of the home of football back in 1977.

FIFA had to outlaw passing back to the keeper, on the grounds of public health. The rest of the world were in danger of dying of laughter when Scotland played.
